Watercraft protection varies based on the type of boat, length, horsepower, maximum speed, waters navigated and if the boat is chartered.
Some homeowner companies offer Watercraft Protection as an endorsement on your home insurance policy. If the hull doesn’t fit company guidelines or you prefer not to list the boat on your home insurance, you can obtain a separate Watercraft Insurance Policy.
Watercraft Insurance Policies are intended to protect property damage and liability coverage. To make sure you receive the best rate, be sure to tell your Agent how much boating experience you have and if you have taken a boating safety course. Additionally, if your watercraft has a radar, radio direction finder, depth sounder, ship to shore radio and any other safety device.
It doesn’t matter whether you own a boat for personal or commercial use; we can tailor a policy to fit your needs.
